30 Days in Proverbs

My teen leader, Mr. Gable, has put a little booklet together for the teens. He has challenged us to read one chapter of Proverbs a day then choose a verse that really "spoke" to us (stood out to us concerning our spiritual lives.) In the booklet, there is 30 days of reading. You 1) Open your Bible to the chapter of Proverbs you are reading in that day, 2) Read the chapter, 3) Find a verse that stood out to you, 4) Write the verse in your booklet, and 5) Explain in our booklet why you picked that verse and what you think it means for you. This has been a very interesting challenge... You need to read a chapter every day.  For some people, it may seem hard. For others, easy. But there is a level of difficulty here if you are really serious about the whole of the "quest," you could say. When you write in your booklet, "I need to learn God's truth," what are you going to do about it? How is that verse going to affect and change your life? God has used this challenge in my life! Proverbs is a wonderful book! If you have questions about life in general, you can find many answers in that book. It is also a book of the Bible that I recommend teens read. I myself am a teen, and it has helped tremendously! Btw, you don't need a booklet to do this '30 Days in Proverbs' challenge.... get a notebook and do it yourself! If you let Him, God will work in your life!!!!
